"This was the first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we couldn’t be more pleased. The place is like a mansion atop its hill, full of such unique and cool rooms and decor. It reminded us of “Clue”. The gardens and sitting areas so inviting. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. The breakfast was actually cooked when you ordered and the homemade strawberry rhubarb jam, delicious! The other guests and actually the locals also made us feel so welcome. Can’t say enough good things about this place....

"Delicious food, lovely wait staff who were personable and informative. The water views and short walk to the shoreline couldn’t be beat. The room we stayed in (Moonbeam) was only fair as the shower was impossible to manage both by us and the woman who owns it. Her husband was the only one who knew what to do. Check in staff person was nice but not helpful. But we’d come back, but to a different room. The restaurant was fantastic!!!"

"Nice place. Nice property. Only thing is that I would do is. Put slip guard on the steps. I slipped on them while it was raining on Tuesday afternoon. Also checking in would be great if it was at 2:00pm instead of 3:00. People are traveling and tired and want to rest when they get there."

"We were up graded from studio to 2 bedroom cottage because hot tub at studio wasn't working; we appreciated this. The cottage was clean and the beds comfy! The area is beautiful and quiet. The sight of the Bald Eagle, sitting in a tree over the lake, was a bonus. "

"Sleeping in a lighthouse should be on your bucket list when vacationing in NB! This one does not disappoint, with stunning views and every comfort imaginable to make a memorable experience. Added touches of swings, ax throwing or drinks on the third floor deck at sunset was more than anticipated. The host Becky was very helpful and only a text away. Make the drive it is well worth it."
