"This is a great liitle house in the heart of Scottshead, within walking distance to everything including snorkeling. Great views of the bay.The people are so friendly and welcoming in Scottshead. "I have now been staying at Fort Young a good handful of times and it is always a pleasure to visit. The rooms have been done up since my last visit and some sort of construction was still going on outside but not disturbing. In general a great stay as always but avoid they breakfast. "The property is nestled away on the country side of the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suite only steps away from the ocean . The pool is made of stones and is refreshing , especially with a cocktail. We scheduled a couples massage with hot rocks and let the stress of the World melt away . "Property was exactly as described in the photos they provided. Rooms have the basics, nothing fancy but were clean. Location was great for us in Roseau Valley as we needed to be in that area. Also very close to Roseau. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We got breakfast included which was a local fruit plate, coffee, fresh juice, toast and jam. They also do have eggs and bacon and pancakes available for an additional cost (which was tasty). "

"There was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. "We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily. The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. "Amazing location and view. We were very impressed with the property. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Our room ws clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten track, and the road to get up there is rough so if taking a taxi, make sure the taxi includes the drive all the way up there.
