"This place was not clean, fixtures broken, tub not clean, walls were dirty. When it first opened it was maintained well but has really went down."

"The property was even more beautiful than the listing. It really gave us the “cabin camping” experience we were looking for. Bonus points for allowing our sweet fur family members to tag along. It had a homey feel and a peaceful environment for the perfect family weekend getaway. We will definitely be coming back!"

"WiFi was poor. Ruku wouldn’t play movies or sports on tv when we were rested so we had to use our phones. Everything other than that, it was a good stay. There’s a state park with beach half a mile which was nice even a lake to go fishing. Bait shop is right next door."

"Cabin was clean and comfortable. Nice view of the lake."

"Parking was great for boats"

"We had a really great time! We had everything we needed. The huge back yard right on the lake was to die for. The house felt very private. We will definitely be back"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Cooper Family Lake House in Milam, TX. The property is well cared for, the location is beautiful, and the setting feels peaceful and tucked away at the end of a quiet finger of the lake. The huge trees around the property are gorgeous, and we really enjoyed the lake views and wildlife. We did not see any alligators, but we did see a turtle and tons of fish. This is an especially great spot for fishing, and the property is set up so well for that to be the focus of...

"Great place to stay. And a great place to fish,"

"Great property! Would stay here again."

"Our stay was amazing! From the time we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. The home beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay. The location is also perfect and convenient. The host was super friendly and made our entire experience seamless. Their hospitality made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a clean and well-maintained home with an amazing host, I totally recommend this place! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and...

"Perfect house for a fun family vacation! Kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. Convenient and easy to tie boat up to dock. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to make meals. Would definitely book this house again and again. Host was great! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"It was relaxing. We enjoyed our time. It was very fun."

"Perfect little fishing cabin. Very clean and quiet."

"We had a few hiccups in the beginning, keypad to get in had issues, we started grilling but the propane bottle was left on from previous guests and we had an empty propane bottle, but everything was addressed quickly with the hosts and taken care of immediately. We ended up having a very relaxing weekend with the family with gorgeous views of the lake."

"Great place for the money and location. We will stay there again "

"We stayed for three nights with the primary goal of shore fishing Lake Sam Rayburn. The wooded setting is peaceful, and the deck is a relaxing place to enjoy nature. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, those aspects were enjoyable.Unfortunately, the property did not meet our expectations based on the listing and photos. Our biggest disappointment was the fishing access. During our stay, the lake level was extremely low, leaving only 1–2 feet of water along the shoreline. While the owner can’t...
