"We had a lovely stay, bed room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and the owner so helpful and kind. He’s been working on the hotel so it was a little tired and is still a work in process. But what has been done so far looks great. Short walk from the wonderful Rutland water, great for walks. "

"From the outset the customer service was excellent. Lovely room with great view across to the water. Restaurant staff were so friendly and again the service was excellent. The menu was limited but what we had we thoroughly enjoyed. Perhaps a couple of traditional Indian dishes would be an excellent addition. "

"Amazing hotel. The decor is beautiful and all staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Nice to hear 'sir' and 'madam'. I thought that kind of politeness had been lost, seems not. The breakfast was the best weve ever had. All staff seemed very hapoy in their work. Lovely to hear jolly voices, even behind the scenes.
