"Charming historical inn with the most awesome staff."

"Enjoyed our trip, this is our 4th time and we always live it. One of my favorite places to be. The amenities fees are separate now and must be purchased at Rumbling Bald Resort for each person for each day of your stay if you choose to use them."

"Staff was good. Breakfast was funny how limited it was (cheap prepackaged muffins). But it was fine. Room had some cleaning issues but they didn't really affect me. There were brown marks on a pillow and sheet. Could be something gross, or maybe chocolate muffin residue. But it certainly should not be there."

"Beautiful property with so many added touches. Complimentary coffee at coffee bar , very generous butler pantry, koozie’s to take home . Everything was top notch ! We enjoyed the front porch as well!"

"The sink was slow draining. The shower was too hot and when you tried to adjust it by turning it towards the cold, the water just trickled out and it was still too hot! The floor was so dirty my feet were black and had to be washed from walking across it. The staff was nice. The breakfast was fine: waffles, frozen Jimmy Dean egg sausage, cheese croissants, cereal, toast, bagels. "

"I freaked OUT over the general amount of filth and the amount of mold in the bathroom!! I never even put my things down. I took out my phone to take pictures of everything, then literally booked it out of there!! It’s no wonder they don’t show the bathrooms up close in the photos. I am truly astounded by the reviews saying that the place is clean. That piece I cannot fathom. The reviews are why I rented a room there! The only positive is the gentleman that checked me in. "Firehouse Inn is filled with olde world charm. Hand painted walls, claw foot chairs, Bose audio system for easy listening, TV and a fireplace in large living room. Dining area can seat multiple guests in comfort. The hospitality is amazing! Donna’s cooking skills are mouthwatering and Mary is the go to person to get you settled in. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed, lounge chair with ottoman and spotless bathroom. Shower was large enough for two people 👍! Will definitely visit again."
