"The facilities are being added to : restaurants etc. our room, themed room: Cape Town was decorated to good standard. The best breakfast, parking and access was very good. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. It was great experience and would go again Thanks to all the staff."

"The place is cosy and the bed was comfy, however there were no sockets next to the bed and worse, there was no water pressure in the shower at all. The staff promised to remedy it, but ultimately didn't do anything about it. Maybe a bad room, maybe a bad inn."

"We were very positively surprised by this hotel. Didn´t expect much, but the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was super. The rooms were clean and checkin and checkout was easy. We will definately come back if we ever come back to Middlesbrough."

"Called craig for check in, was greeted with him with a blood all around his nose telling us hes not well and his girlfriend had noroviris. Don't think I've used as much hand santiser since 2020. Other was room looked good and spacious good for a night or two. Good location, The boathouse cafe over the road is a great too and just over road for for breakfast."

"Lovely country hotel with large garden and free parking. Our room had a comfortable bed,fridge, fan and tv . The bathroom was clean with extra large towels. We ate at restaurant for 3 evenings. Menu had a good choice of meals and food was lovely. Restaurant was very busy so pre booking advised. We had a great breakfast each day with hot and cold selections. Bus stops outside to Whitby and Saltburn which was a bonus. Lovely hotel with wonderful staff and we would definately stay again"
