It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. "

Even better than the photos.The area and property itself are lovely, very quiet and peaceful. We even saw some deer walk by the dining room windows! "The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. "

"This place provided exactly what we needed in order to hike the 9 mile loop trail at Old Rag Mountain. Only a few miles down the road. Jimm was an excellent host and provided a lot of good information for the area. We loved being by the creek!"
