"We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back!"

"Great cabin in the middle of no where!! Just like I wanted. Amazing sunrise and sunsets over the pond. Stars are amazing to sit and look at next to a campfire. Nice trails to walk through the property, rocks that are amazing. Then just down the road is a creek you can explore, cold fresh water, lots of next rocks.One of the best trips I’ve done in a couple of years. "

"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."

"We had a great time! We were originally planning to go tent camping and due to thunderstorms in the forecast we canceled that reservation and found this cabin available. We are SO glad we did! The cabin is small but very much everything we needed. Yes there were cobwebs and spiders and the cabin is not fully updated but truthfully, I believe if it was - the charm would be lost! I believe the owners live across the way in a home on the property and they were kind enough to provide us with dry...

"We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Lori was easy to reach and allowed us an early check in since we were arriving into town early Friday morning. She also allowed us a little later check out on Sunday. There is a private dock which we used the entire time for fishing. Lisa, her husband, and her family were staying at the home next door but very quiet and respectful so didn’t bother us one bit. "It might be a small place but it is laid out real well. We appreciated the full size oven and stove and the variety of pots and pans that were available to us. The beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the nice fluffy bath towelsThere was plenty of room to park the boat and we were minutes from many fishing lakes. We will definitely check to see if this property is available the next time we come to the area "

"Cabin is situated well on the property. It overlooks a slice of the lake between the trees with a slanted grassy area that leads to the lake and includes a fire pit. The space fit 5 adults comfortably enough (we brought an air mattress). We enjoying using the kayaks and canoes, the air hockey table, and the fire pit. Was exactly what we were looking for. "
