"this place reminded me of some places that I stayed many years ago. The owner went out of his to fix the heater. He drove two houts away to accomplish this task. We were very impressed and will be back in tye future"

"Was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are steep stairs so if you have really young children or bad knees it might not be the best option for you. My kids loved it and thought it was the coolest experience. The castle itself does have a bathroom with shower, a full size refrigerator, and a full size stove/oven which was not on the listing. The guest house also has a bathroom and kitchenette but no stove/oven in it. Host had everything needed in the kitchen, pots pans utensils...

"Really enjoyed this little place. Peaceful and nobody ever bothered us. Great for a couples getaway. The bathtub was awesome. No trashcans, which was odd, but we just used grocery sacks and that was fine. The only other thing I didn’t like was we couldn’t control the AC. I guess it was controlled in the main part of the house. It was a little warmer than we like to sleep, but not terrible. Super clean place though and a really comfortable bed. "

"We had a blast here! We had 3 jet skis, and we were able to store them right here at the house. There’s a full equipped kitchen and all the beds were very comfortable. It stayed nice and cool during the day. Plenty of AC units around the house and the deck was beautiful. The sunset was beautiful. My family and I had a blast here and can’t wait to return in a few weeks. Also, the neighbors were a lot of fun. They invited us over and we did karaoke and the kids did karaoke and we just had a blast."

"We have used this rental before, and if possible we would like to use it again. The only problem that I had was that the check in process was delayed. I didn't receive the pass code for the door until I needed to reach out the host. The key pad lost its battery, and the spare key was not available. Other than this one instance, I like the place."

"Sketchy checking in, no one is ever at the front they leave a list of numbers to text for help, it’s like someone living there managing the place with babies and kids everywhere. Room was already booked so they had to give us a different room with less features. They do not clean your room multiple night stays, they don’t issue more towels, I’m a big girl and we were denied. The room smelled strongly of some kind of fume smell there were bugs on the floor and they also say you have to supply...

"30days prior to our stay we requested cutting our 4 nights down to 3. They approved but told us They would only refund us for half of that day. I thought it was pretty inconvenient.We were informed that there was a problem with the front door lock and so we’d have to use the downstairs lock. There was a lock box and that key got stuck in the deadbolt. There seem to be no lighting outside, so it was very dark on arrival. The house was big and fairly clean, big TVs and couch was comfortable.. But...

"We truly enjoyed spending time just relaxing on the front porch overlooking the lake. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. There is a casino about 40 minutes away and nice restaurants within 20 minutes. I was a little disappointed that my pup was unable to explore due to the chain link fence was broken and also the wooden fence behind the property was laying on the ground. The host was very pleasant when communicating. Would visit again in the future! "
