"We arrived after 18.00 hours but we were expected and our room was ready and waiting. The facilities were excellent,and plenty of info on attractions was available. The breakfast menu was extensive and varied, with sausage and bacon sourced locally. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though access to it was rather a long way from the main road along an "unmade" track."

"We had a great stay! Tim was easy to communicate with, the house was clean, and as other guests have said - the photos don’t do it justice. The bedrooms are good sizes and we had everything we needed. My daughter appreciated the tvs with access to app subscriptions. The hot tub is huge, very relaxing. Lovely to have a fire and outside space. Being next to the stream and right by the waterfall was a great bonus. "

"The staff were very helpful and friendly . The breakfast was good . We were on the top floor , up 47 steps , in the property next door but one . There wasn’t a lift and to be fair we hadn’t stated that we couldn’t manage stairs , which we could but perhaps not so many! There was an unpleasant drain smell in the bathroom ."

"Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car! Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good . Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel ."

"What a lovely stay. Our room had a really nice view. Loved watching the horse tram go by. Really great hot breakfast with a variety of options. The hosts were lovely and we had a great time. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean."
