"I understand this isnt a 5 star hotel, but still expected a clean room. Floor was very dirty, pillows were shoved into drawer and had no pillow case, no washcloths, no soap, bugs crawling on floor. "

"This was a great property for our large group to stay. This home in Downtown Elizabeth City has been updated and offers huge spaces and modern upgrades while respecting and honoring the historic home. The bedrooms and baths are huge, and there is tons of living and gathering space (two dining areas, two living rooms). It’s close to downtown, restaurants and easy to the main roads. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Beautiful place right on the river. Tastefully decorated, stocked with linens and towels. The kitchen was certainly stocked with cookware. I made a seafood boil for our group, had everything we needed.Check in was easy! I just followed the instructions on the evolve website and put in the front door code. Great vacation. Will probably come back."

"If you are planning a trip to the Elizabeth City area, this is the place to stay! Tastefully decorated in nautical decor, this condo is right on the Pasquotank River. Layout of the unit is perfect with a large living space and two bedrooms upstairs. Unit is spotless and the beautiful kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and then enjoy them on the deck overlooking the river. You won't go wrong with this rental!!"

"We were in town for the Coast Guard Marathon. The race goes right by the house, and the kids enjoyed cheering along the runners. The road was also open enough that my husband could spend the beginning at the house, and meet me at the finish. We had our kids 2.5 and 5 with us. They enjoyed being able to see the horses and donkeys every day when returning home. On night one, there were two deer in the backyard, followed by 30 the next night. Easy jaunt down to the waterfront. Very peaceful...

"It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a good location. The place was clean-ish, but could be more clean. There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which made for a damp smell and a humid area to get ready for the day. Barely any extra amenities like linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, or toilet paper. There is a washer and drier but no laundry soap to use. An ok place to stay in a pinch, but not my first choice."
