"Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!"

"This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

"What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga.
The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room.
I spent most of my time on the deck.
Was clean and well maintained. "

"The 'room' is an 18' x 24' open space with a 12' x 18' loft. Two twin beds upstairs with a private balcony. A King bed downstairs with a kitchenette. The space was elegant but not luxury. Simple but with character. The bathroom was a little small, but the water pressure was decent and the hot water was hot. But the real gem was the outdoor space. The hot tub was nice. The outdoor table and chairs were comfortable. But the view was perfection. We were half way up a mountain with an amazing view...

"This cabin is like a treehouse in the clouds! The owners and staff are so lovely and friendly. The farm and feeding the animals were a major highlight for the kids on our CR trip. We would love to come back!"

"My husband and I have stayed in many properties in Costa Rica. It was not only beautiful but well appointed. Coffee, sugar, honey, oil and tea etc were available. We've brought breakfast to cook before but found the kitchens lacking. Now we wish we brought eggs etc. This place is on our list for a repeat."
