"We wanted a couple of days somewhere that wasn’t too far from home but made us feel as though we were, and that is EXACTLY what we got! We began our weekend by entering a BEAUTIFUL A-frame house with amply space and gorgeous furnishings. "Check in was very easy. Location was super close to the waterfall and it’s beautiful. The property is well kept and the room was well stocked. If you’re showing at C bar C it’s an easy 15 minute drive away. The only downside is that the walls are very thin and you can hear even quiet conversations from the room next to you. Unfortunately my Friday night neighbors must’ve had too much to drink, a symphony of vomiting from 4-730 am. "

"Captain Bill's Guest House was a wonderful choice for us. We wanted to go hiking at the various state parks in the area and there were several excellent ones nearby. After a full day of hiking we were able to go back and relax by the pool. I have never seen a more beautifully landscaped pool area. It was truly amazing! "The room and property were in excellent condition. Very quiet and peaceful place to stay. The kitchen was fully equipped for making your own meals . A short walk to the upper falls and a longer but manageable walk to the lower falls."

"We had a great stay at Bill’s guest house for our family of four. We enjoyed the fishing (and swimming) -the pond is well stocked. Bill is a great host; he communicated proactively and easily. He is very generous - had bait in the fridge, offered we use his fishing poles s well as plenty of wood for the fire pit.
