"La Cusinga is such a special place. It’s everything I hoped it would be in an eco lodge. The grounds are amazing. The swimming hole was fantastic. The hikes you can do on the property, especially down to Playa Arco were spectacular. The hike down to Playa Arco at low tide and the swimming hole were the highlight of the stay. "We were in CR for 2.5 weeks and stayed at several places - this was our favorite place. Staff is super friendly, helpful and welcoming and the owners, Sebastian and Kristoff are great hosts who are involved and make sure their guests are taken care of. The food is delicious - Mediterranean meets Costa rican. The location is gorgeous and the property is truly unique. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending. "
