"Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was pretty clean, A/c was cold once the room cooled off and fridge was cold as well. Bathroom was very nice and clean. I was traveling solo from MO to NV and needed a place to shut my eyes. I prefer small local places over Brand hotel experiences. Town was cute but everything closed at 8 or 10 with a good meal. Overall, I it nice and quite and would stay again. "

"This was a convenient stop for us on our way from Dallas to Colorado located just off US 385. The house is located in the center of Channing with a nice view of horses out the picture windows in the living room.As noted in other reviews, the house is located next to a rail line. We knew this going in but the trains came through at all hours of the night and sounded a horn due to the nearby intersection.Overall the house was fairly clean but it needs a deep clean to be rated higher. "Nice bed, rooms are a bit worn down and needs paint/redoing, doors to the rooms was really hard to open. We had 3 rooms, one room had a horrible Molde smell, TV was broken in one room and several rooms had holes in the windows. AC units needs a Big cleaning. Breakfast - not sure I would call i breakfast 2 girls preparing scrambled eggs, one piece of toast and some not to well done potato pieces and a piece of meat i dont even know what was. Do not go here for the breakfast. From a distance the inside looks super cool. Spa had no water, did not test the pool. It have us a place to sleep, but bothing more then that"
