"Excellent service all the way around!! We checked in late due to rain delay at event we attended. Parking lot has plenty of light and greeted and checked in quickly. Hotel is an older hotel, but they have worked extensively to update/modernize the rooms. Rooms are large with cabin decoration. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was solid and fresh. Recommend to anyone traveling in the area. "

The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. "This newly remodeled home was perfect for our family. There were four of us but there was room for two more to sleep. Everything was so clean! We loved the fact that the owner immediately responded when we had questions. The house is walking distance to the cute main street in Big Stone Gap and there are lots of beautiful hiking paths in the nearby mountains. We would definitely stay here again. "

It is a large home and has plenty of space to spread out if needed. The beds were cozy. We spent our evenings watching tv in the living room with the fireplace on. Pretty close to everything.
