"Langt fra stjernerne Værelserne er dejlig store, men ikke særlig lydtætte. Dårlig Wifi eller snarre ingen på værelserne. Servicen fra personalet er meget svingende og de er ikke særlig venlig eller imødekommende, hverken ved pool eller restaurant. Vi havde bestilt værelse til 3, men da vi kom var der ikke redt op til 3. Så bad vi om det og så satte de blot sengetøjet udenfor døren. En dag manglede vi håndklæder og sådan fortsatte det..... Placering ved stranden var dejlig, men der er ikke...

"Fantatisk hotel med suveræne værelser med fint køkken, fint pool- og barområde, lige ved stranden og tæt på byen. En stor udfordring er dog at ALT bliver låst af kl. 10 PM og først låst op kl. 8.00 AM og personalet i receptionen beder en om at lægge nøglerne på bordet i værelset, hvis man checker ud før kl. 8.00 AM. Det betyder, at man ikke kan komme ud fra området og skal ned på stranden og langs med denne for at komme ud på vejen, hvor taxaen holder."

"We just got back from staying in the Sunset Suite at VH with our family of 4. We loved the quirkiness of the house, built in the late 18th century so it has wonky floors, but it gives it character. The 2 bedrooms are the only rooms with A/C so be prepared for the living room, kitchen and bathroom to be a lil toasty. We did ask for an extra box fan, which they kindly provided. "The host is above and beyond what you could ask for. I definitely recommend this experience for any nature lover. The site was definitely worth the stay to hear all the beautiful sounds of St Croix. One of our favorite parts was watching the lizards in the grass behind the camp stove, there was such a variety and they just hung out without worry of being watched. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Charles' shipping container tiny home in Frederiksted. The location was perfect and the host was extremely helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the property on the first day because it was after dark and raining, but Charles got us there safely. The tiny home is basic but very clean and everything functions well. We asked for some things like extra blankets and beach towels, and Charles was right there with what we needed. Beautiful beach...

"We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"

"An amazing and unique property . Spectacular views. Owner is on site. Very responsive. Pool on second level. Hot tub on the third level. The views just get better. Our host was an excellent bartender. His bar is a beautiful example of his woodworking skills that are on display throughout the property. Will certainly return here on our next visit to St Croix."

"Ive been coming to this area to Scuba Dive for 15 years. 9 years ago I married my wife in Carambola which is where Ive always stayed. This year we decided to give a rental property a try and boy are we happy. Not only was this property a short easy walk from all the amenities the area offers but the condo itself was impecable. Just bring your clothes and groceries because the rest from bottle openers to beach chairs to wine glasses and everything in between is right there and in great condition....
