Tied our 20’ boat up to the dock, great water access to fish, and the screened porch allowed us to still be outside regardless of the heavy thunderstorms during our stay. The location is perfect being close to Washburns marina for the younger kids daily milkshake runs and off the main lake just enough to float all day peacefully! The game room and loft area is perfect for kids ranging from 6-26 and never feels overcrowded. The owner is amazing and checks in frequently to make sure all is well. "We had a blast here at lake Gaston. Our family of 25-31 people get together every 2 years and this location fit us perfectly. Plenty of room to spread out into separate groups while also having room to all come together nightly for games and chatting."

"We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. It was a total of 10 of us, 2 families with an extra teenagers). We had plenty of space and things to do!! The backyard is flat and nicely kept. We did some dock fishing and caught a 4 lb catfish one night!! We had a boat and had plenty of room to park and still be able to play in the lake and use the kayaks!!
