"Everything was amazing! Laurel was so helpful and kind, I loved staying at her cute and cozy place❤️ We got a very thoughtful tray of local fruits from her and a home-baked banana bread which I thought was very cool."

"The property is beautiful! Lots of attention to detail and many areas to relax and enjoy the ocean views. We liked the large covered lanai area we could sit outside and still enjoy even during the rainstorms. Fresh breakfast delivered to us in the morning was delicious!We unfortunately had to cut our visit short here short chasing the erupting volcano, but again the property is so pretty!"

"Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the clean bathroom. Great shower with never ending hot water.The oversized mini refrigerator was great to have keep my bag of ice for 2 day as I we used it in our cooler during the day and refreshed it in the freezer when we returned. Kept food & drinks chilled. Hot coffee pot was well used for making hot coffee and tea.Room could use a few more hooks to hand clothes and towel bars. Bed was too soft. Would prefer a firmer mattress"

"We arrived to a pool that was dirty and had dead frogs in it and a dead Jackson chameleon jammed in between the screen which had been there long enough to develop maggots. Ever stay in a a lot of dollar a night VRBO who had no back up toilet paper and no coffee, tea, or even a filter this is your place. Imagine paying all this money not even having enough toiletries for one night for all guests and no store Within 30 minutes to get anything from. This place once upon a time was nice, now it is...

"Having never been to the Big Island, we could not have made a better choice of where to stay. The property is so serene and inviting. A true visual feast while feeding your soul in connecting with nature and experiencing true island life. Our host was very accommodating and willing to share their island knowledge. We feel like we made a new friend in during our stay. Thank you for making our first Hawaii vacation so memorable! We will most definitely be returning!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was peaceful and a nice getaway but still close enough to Hilo. The view of the ocean every morning as the sun rises is so special. We loved meeting all the adorable chickens and ducks. The accommodation itself is simple but functional with all needed amenities. Host was awesome! "

"It did have nice views no doubt. It had alot of maintenence that it just wasn't getting. We were told to keep the screens closed to keep the bugs and geckos out. Problem was at least 8 of the screens were torn and even with everything closed we had maybe 7-10 geckos get in the house during our stay and some rather large bugs. Also the ac units look like they have never been cleaned. Mold on the covers and I pulled the washable filters out and they we nasty. Also all 3 of the mattress needed...

"This is a beautiful property with a fantastic host. Corinne was so kind, welcoming and accommodating, we felt we were visiting family. We enjoyed the peaceful, laidback environment, the fruits from trees, the nature night sounds, bright stars and the sweet animals. Corinne also helped us in an emergency situation; she was an absolute sweetheart. Wish we had more time to spend there. We will be back. The Hamakua Coast lived up to its reputation."

"The property is everything advertised and then some. It is beautiful and restful with the waterfall and waves surrounding you every moment. The two things to note are that only 3 bedrooms have A/C and on hot summer days it gets stifling hot, but those days are rare, we had one night like that in our week. The bunk room is not a room but a space that has a curtain that is a makeshift wall.These items should be noted in the property description so that visitors expectations are set correctly. ...
