The hosts have gone above and beyond on their Rustic Retreat. Well maintained, true cabin feeling. The only thing we regret is not booking a longer stay!!"

There were a few minor things different from the description but all for the better due to the updates and improvements the owner has made. "House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back."

"Lyons Creek is a beautiful property. It was clean, neat and as described. It was perfect for my quick family getaway. The only feedback I have would be to replace the outdoor grill. It needed some attention and was not operational. Otherwise, I would definitely rent this property again."

"Pretty house with a beautiful view of the lake! Very peaceful and relaxing weekend. We were a bit disappointed that the hot tub and fireplace were not working since those were a couple of features why we chose this house over some others we considered. We did enjoy the pedal boat! "On the north side of town (a few miles from downtown) but within walking distance of Kahill's restaurant which is worth something. Large room, comfortable bed, very decent hotel breakfast buffet. With us not on the top floor, we heard stomping around from above at all hours but that may have just been the luck of the draw to have had something like 300 pound insomniacs up there."
