"Its a lovely property, right next door to the hosts, who are very friendly and helpful. Master bed is a firm floor bed, which you go through to kids room. Fold out in lounge, lounge is a large room. Kids loved the glass floor in their room! We were 3 adults and 2 kids, probably more suited to 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a lovely peaceful stay. Great to hear the ruru at night :)"

"This is the second time we've stayed at this special place. We felt very at home in the house, and appreciate that there's lots of room to spread out in. But we especially love the pool and the spa pool and made the most of them. The outdoor table area was great for spending time and eating meals. And the hosts were great, providing good instructions and making us feel welcome in their house. I hope we will be able to visit again!"

"We stayed for two nights after making a last minute decision to get away with friends. It was a-may-zing! Floss called us on the day we were arriving to sort out directions and the awesome experience started right there. Thanks for coaching us up the goat track Floss! And for your awesome yarns. "Have stayed here before and love the amount of space there is. 3 toilets and 3 showers meant no queues. Heat pump was on when we arrived so house was really toasty. Large TV we were able to watch sports on."

"It was great! We were testing out travelling with our indoor cat and it was perfect. A very chill spot with lovely people and a comfy, cozy little whare. The pool was awesome, too, though chilly enough to require a bit of bravery. Lots of tūī, pīwakawaka, riroriro, and happy magpies, too. Thank you!"

"Very pleased with my stay here. The house is unpretentious and simple. It really is about simple batch living, and this is it's charm. There is a wonderful wood burner that does an amazing job of keeping the place nice and warm. The batch looks right out on to the South Pacific Ocean and the sounds of the waves are ever present. At night - without the clouds - you have a clear dark sky view of the stars and galaxies far away."

"We love this place. Bright, light, and sunny, the best thing about it is the sea at the doorstep. You hear the waves at night, see them first thing when you get up, and then walk just a few steps over the road to plunge into them for a swim. The bach is warm too with a really efficient log burner so we were cosy at night. This is our go to place for a few days of real refreshment and pleasure. The sea, the rocks, the hills for climbing, spectacular views from so many angles. It’s a winner."
