"Fantastic Branch of the Hilton Family. One of their best."

"Friendly staff and the afternoon tea was delicious Some of the things in our room could do with being repaired and maybe a new mattress but overall it was a pleasant stay"

"Perfect hotel for my one night stay, very clean and well presented"

"Very welcoming room was excellent quality bed was to die for"

"Used as an overnight stop on our way south, location is good, a few minutes from the M1, Reception staff were very good, bed was very comfortable, only down side was the shower was in need of a deep clean, dirty grouting and rust stains. Breakfast was serve yourself, plenty full but not very hot."

"No check in desk, no room cleaning, no hot water, no heat, no breakfast service. Food very mediocre. Management of this hotel was disgraceful. Staff were amazing in very difficult circumstances. Stayed here many times before…..never again"

"The website said there was parking and I arrived to be handed a £5 bill to pay for parking. I purchased £10 breakfast but was given a coupon to go to the Welcome Break services for breakfast. At that counter - The Good Breakfast - I could not swap items I did not eat. I had to pay extra for 2 slice of bread and then told there was only white bread. No refill of coffee and no juice. It felt very must like a sham of a deal in between parking and the poor breakfast. I will NOT stay there...

"Beautiful room, decorated and equipped to high quality. Lovely meal and breakfast. Would recommend as a fab place to stay."

"Room was clean and comfortable, although there was nowhere to hang coats/clothes (there was no hanging rail). The pedestrian route to the restaurant was a bit dark in places. Generally a good overall stay."
