"It was very clean and comfortable. Loved that the pool and hot tub were open 24/7. Loved the bonfire on the beach at night . Restaurant seemed to be having an issue with service so we went somewhere else to eat. The complimentary breakfast was awesome Would definitely stay again"

"Aurora Borealis is the first motel we have stayed at in years. The experience was so much more that we expected. Rooms were clean. Access was simple and proximity to State Street in St. Ignace was perfect. Don’t be discouraged to stay here just because it’s not a branded chain. While the rooms are spartan they serve the simple purpose of providing a place to stay. Enjoy Mackinac Island, Tahquamenon Falls, the Sault Ste Marie and all the other great sites to visit."

"Det er generelt dyrt at bo på Mackinac Island i august måned, så man får ikke meget for pengene. Vi havde delt badeværelse og det fungerede fint. Pine Cottage er et rigtig fint B&B med søde ejere og god service. Dejlig morgenmad."

"Great location on the water. We had a suite for three adult travelers, the room was very spacious and perfect for our needs. Only thing to consider is the fact it is 2 stories and an elevator is not available. Beautiful view with numerous sitting options outside. "

"Great location right across form the marina and walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and the ferry to Mac Island. We arrived super late after sailing across the lake and the staff made sure we could still check in even though their office was closed. "

"Clean rooms. Good breakfast. The laundry facilities were very clean and much appreciated! Three dollars for wash and three dollars to dry. I would definitely stay there again as it’s a great location and a very reasonable price for what you get. "
