To be fair, the bed itself was free of critters and was clean and comfortable- the pool area was cordoned off with caution tape-yet also the pool was full- feral cats were attempting to enter my room..the ice machine was ..a no..that's ok because there was no buckey to collect ice anyway. I slept with my shoes on....

"Great place to stay for the weekend to explore the Flint Hills. We spent time in Council Grove and the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. Space was comfy and well-decorated. We did not cook at home so can't say for sure everything needed is there but it seemed to have the basics. "We have been vacationing in Council Grove since 2012 and have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years. Without a doubt, this was the best place we’ve experienced. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The attention to detail and overall hospitality truly set it apart. We made wonderful memories here and are already looking forward to returning. We will definitely be back!"
