"Motel is reasonably clean, and one of the cleaning staff members was especially helpful and friendly. The owners were also welcoming and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, our overall experience was let down by the lack of a comfortable sleeping environment. Our room at the back had no block-out curtains, and the bright security lights from the neighbouring car dealership made the room very bright throughout the night. "The Mini Chalet has become a favourite mini-break escape for us. This was our second visit and, like our previous stay, we were delighted by the location, tranquility, generous hospitality of hosts Sumaya and Nick, cleanliness of the cabin, and overall comfort. Great spot for a peaceful getaway! We'll be back!!"

"There was a faint smell of old ashtray in the room that I found disappointing (on a non smoking floor). I also turned up when the keys/locks were being redone, and reception was nice enough but I don't think the manager actually apologise for the inconvenience even once, just fed excuses.... Zero explanation of where anything was or times the reception was open/closed over weekend."

"Great for a single or couple if you need a place to stay in this location. Suited us as we had busy days and just needed somewhere to rest at night. Its compact, but quaint and does the job. Communication with owner was first rate. "

"Place was nice and very close to many shops. Would've been better to state in the advertisement that the host's receptionist lives downstairs as this was a weird experience and felt like we had no privacy also stating that a security deposit is to be paid upon arrival as this was not made known to me until check in.
