"Would definitely visit again! We had a free room upgrade and it was a significant improvement on the room we had anticipated - thank you very much! The room looked a little tired and so were some of the corridor/stair areas too. Our wasn't perfectly clean - the windows, mirrors and a large crisp was fairly obvious but overall, it was good. "After spending 7.5 hours walking up Mount Whernside, I was looking forward to a hot meal and a comfortable bed; and that's just what I got! Cotton sheets and soft white fluffy towels were appreciated.Pamela was very welcoming and friendly. Only 2* accommodation but that was all that was required, therefore can't fault it; achieving my Mountain walk was my main aim! 💪excellent coffee in the morning! ☕😁 xx"

"I was left on my own, worked out great, planned all my excursions to the lake district, ate when i wanted, slept in the day, if needed. Bike was safe in car park. En suite room. No complaints 5* cleaner was friendly, too!"
