"Property is wonderful and all the staff were nice . Couple of things I was not prepared for and I wish was more made aware. For me I could do this physically just a bit of sweat but for some older and unfit individual this could be a problem. 1. "I like the rooms! Bed was very comfortable. I didn’t like the bugs and that there was not really an area for our party to gather around in celebration of a milestone birthday. The fishing was not great in comparison to the other locations we have stayed at however I do like the amenities this resort provides for children."

"We spent two days in Lakeport, the hotel was fine, room clean and big and the surroundings great next to Clear Lake, we had found it on Hotels.com to a very attractive rate. Great area for biking and other outdoor activities. Only minus would be the very unfriendly reception we got from person at reception up on arrival, we arrived in the evening and felt we were disturbing her, she hardly spoke a word."

"Casino is clean but the rooms are pretty old. Stained carpets and chairs. Stains on the carpet in the elevator. Had noisy neighbors and the walls are pretty thin. "The room was dirty, the sheets on one of the beds were dirty, there was a filthy rag hanging on the shower and a cockroach in the bathroom at 3am! The pool advertised as open at 8am was closed for cleaning until a half hour before check out time. We will not return "

"We needed a place to stay for one night while visiting for a graduation. We found the Regency to be clean and neat but very basic which suited our needs. It was close to restaurants and a grocery store. It worked fine for a short term stay. The rooms are old and could use an upgrade. The carpet needs to be replaced, but the price was right."
