"Really nice place, with very friendly staff. However, do not expect luxury. It is in the middle of the jungle and there are ants, cockroaches, gekkos etc. And the room does not have mosquito net. It did not bother me, but my girlfriend would not have been comfortable. Still, for the price, i would rate it 5 out of 5 and it worked perfect as two days accomodation for exploring sinharaja. It is directly next to the gate and have beautiful view of the forest and nice infinity swimming pool...

"Toted as being one of the most remote hotels in SL the hotel did not disappoint. Fabulous location and well run for such a remote site. You certainly got a sense of the rainforest by the time you got there. Our container was comfortable and the bar and dinning rooms spacious. "I went to several places in Sri Lanka (the more expensive and the lesser) and I can honestly say I had the best time at this accommodation. I stayed in a tent by the river and the sounds of nature are incredible. The hotel is situated practically inside the rainforest, the owner came and picked me up in the village as the accommodation is at the end of a small path and not reachable by car (which made it even more adventurous, you’re truly going back to nature).
