"One of the few lodging options in the West Point (VA) area. Convenient to Downtown. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Great spot. Interesting old house, wish the walls could talk. It was very clean, great AC (on an extremely hot day), plenty of parking, and very quiet. Erik was a great host and super responsive. I woukd definitely come back!"

"Communication was great from the initial booking. Spacious, clean, and very private. Great accommodations and up to date appliances/furniture. Canoe is a lovely addition that we took pretty far down the river to explore. Would absolutely return and recommend to others!"

"This property was perfect for a large group. Each bedroom had an attached bath. We enjoyed the large kichen and dining room for meal prep and dining. Host was easy to reach and responsive. We would definitely stay here again."

"A lovely cottage for some true peace and quiet away from the city. The hosts were kind and thoughtful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower is built for someone short - so just beware if you are over 5’4” it’s going to require a lot of slouching! Overall, a truly peaceful stay. "

"Our family can't say enough great things about our recent stay. The grounds of the estate are beautiful and tranquil. We quickly found our favorite spots to just watch the river and wildlife. The Carriage House has an amazing interior that matches the history and grandeur of the estate while also having modern amenities. The pool was perfectly situated in its own garden setting and the covered colonnade provided a wonderful shaded place to relax in the shade. We will definitely be back!"
