"The greeter wasn't very friendly because our reservation wasn't on the screen yet he wanted to charge us full price and he had to ask for help. The second greeter Denada on the otherhand was very friendly and patient enough to wait for our reservation to come up on the screen. Then after check in he showed us our room and how to work the tv. "My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy."

"The little house was very comfortable and perfect for our family. Definitely awesome to have two bathrooms and a full kitchen. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. The views are beautiful and if we had time, we would have loved to sit on the front porch and enjoy the views with a cup of coffee."
