"Plenty of space in a quiet location in Volcano. Along with a full shared kitchen, there is a community refrigerator/freezer, which I wasn't sure about based on the online description. Jon, the property manager was always available, but stayed out of the way. Check in/out was easy and the price was reasonable. There is a separate cleaning fee of $80 which you'll need to figure in to your budget."

"The accommodations were terrific, a great value in superb location for visiting Volcanoes National Park and Hilo area. Spacious, comfortable beds. Host was very accommodating by offering to deliver to-go breakfasts as we had an early morning flight. I recommend the Lanikai Brewing Co for dinner if you stay here- the best food we ate in Hawaii for adults and kids- also great beer and excellent cocktail lists with low-key come as you are feel (i.e. sweatpants)."

"This review is long overdue, but the proprietors of this property deserve a shout out. This property was absolutely stunning. Nestled in the rainforest, the October evenings and mornings were cool and crisp, and quiet, but teeming with sounds of wildlife. We were provided with tasty pastries and fruit for our stay. In the daytime, we ventured to the black sand beaches, Kilauea, a farmer’s market, and nearby towns. We absolutely loved our room, which had a fireplace, very comfortable beds, small...

"What a wonderful place to stay. These yurts are easily the best-appointed VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The little touches to make it comfortable and help out if you forgot something are great! The yurts are very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful from start to finish. He even gave us a calendar of Hawaii as a parting gift. Really great place. I highly recommend it!"
