"Rented the main house and the other little cabin on the property for me and my sister so we could attend my niece’s wedding. It was the escape we needed from the craziness of the wedding and was exactly what we needed. It was quiet and allowed us to unwind and catch our breath. "Great place. Great view. Great communication and guests on the first evening.....a Mama bear and her 2 cubs.Too bad we weren't ready with our cameras when they strolled across the yard. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. For future guests, the instructions say not to leave food in your car. That's a good rule and I'm glad our car was already unloaded."

"One of the best places I've stayed with my family, hands down! My kids spent most of the day catching crawfish and lizards in the creek. We got close with one of the neighbors and it made the trip a million times better. Not only did i feel at home with my kids (hard for me), but i made lifelong memories with my family. "We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"This is a really nice house. My friends and I stayed here for a weekend as home base for the Speedway Classic since most places in Bristol were booked, and it provided a great place to do so. Very close to a grocery store and local restaurants. The backyard is also very nice!"

"Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. "

"The .most beautiful cabin setting in the seclude woods of Tennessee. Gorgeous pond with huge catfish and kouia s big as a submarine. Excellent living space. Very homie and comfortable. Spent most of our time on the huge back deck, hot tubbing and enjoying nature. I highly recommend this property. I will return in the winter to see how it is in the snowy splendor of the beautiful mountains. Also, when we went to town for groceries, the people are awesome, every one is so nice and helpful....

"If you’re looking for seclusion but still be close to civilization, this was it. I was by myself taking a few days away from the family for a reset and it was fabulous. Very little traffic noise, actually there was hardly any. And there were fireflies at night. It was great"

"Everything was as described. Beautiful views, beautiful house. All of your needs were met and more. We didnt have any issues, but I know if we did, Karen wouldve been rigjt there for us. Those stairs are no joke, though. If youre in shape, you wont have any issues. If youre older and not in shape, those stairs will kick your butt, lol. We very much enjoyed our stay and exploring the area around. "
