"The Castle needs a good renovation overhaul. The room was spacious with big furniture but otherwise nothing great and run down. Staff was friendly but didn’t go out of their way (we were there to celebrate an accomplishment of my child and definitely let them know… to which they suggested I pay for an upgrade… even a little handwritten “great job kid we’re so proud of you” would have gone a long way.) Noise traveled easily into our room but quiet hours were respected so we got good sleep. Wish...

"Godt: Havde fornøjelse af badekar og den lille veranda udenfor værelset. Stort værelse, god seng. OK: Morgenmad. Skidt: Internetforbindelse meget ustabil og langsom, og tv måtte vi simpelthen opgive at få signal på; der var mere udfald end billede. Der manglede stik i værelset, og opdatering af de få der var, til USB. Det var for dyrt til pisen med de problemer vi oplevede. Her går an at være, men det er for dyrt i forhold til det man får. "

"The romantic cottage was just what we needed. Only thing we could possibly say we didn’t like was the entrance to the property off of the road. It was pretty tight, but thankfully it’s not too busy and we never had any issues with people coming or going at the same time that we were."

It is quite possibly the perfect location to explore the beautiful countryside as well as the many historic locations in the Frankfort, Lexington and the surrounding towns. "Very lovely and charming hotel. I loved that we could open our windows. The air was so cool and fresh outside, so it was really nice to be able to sleep with the windows open. The four roses suite was perfect for my mother and me. We had such a good time sitting and having our morning coffee in the main room. We ordered food from a cute cafe and I walked to pick it up. Really cute downtown. There is also a very nice park in walking distance. "

"Great place in the country. Loved sitting on the porch watching nature and hanging with the goats and chickens. The house had everything we needed and while it's in the country it was really convenient with a short drive to activities we were planning. Doris goes out of her way to be helpful.
