However we woke to find ants all over our bed which was not acceptable. Housekeeping promptly changed the bedding but within half an hour they were back so we were moved for our second night to the Mango room. "Incredible place to stay. A remote and unspoilt location where your only company is monkeys seeing if through the trees all around you. Pool is incredible and villa interiors are sublime, though quite minimalist and thus not suitable for everyone. Staff are wonderful. Manager will bring very delicious rice and curry if you don’t want to cook for a fixed price per head which, given the restaurant prices in ahangama are v reasonable. "Went there as a family and booked two rooms overlooking the ocean (2nd floor). It was magical. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean and sunset views, great pool and direct beach access, and wonderful staff who were always on hand to help.
