"Our room was very clean. Check in was very smooth. You have to register your vehicle at check in to get parking. I myself am coeliac ,and the staff in the resteraunt were absolutely brilliant. They went out of there way to give me all my gluten free food for breakfast. Will definitely be staying there when I need somewhere to stay in that area . "

"I had a lovely night at The Golden Lion. Every staff member I encountered was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the bar was nice. I also liked my small but cozy room which came with tea, coffee and some biscuits. The ONLY issue I had, which was not really the hotel's fault, is that my room was swelteringly hot as I stayed during one of the hottest times of the year. I was provided with a fan, but unfortunately this did not help. Overall though, I had a lovely stay at this...

"We (Mum, Dad, 15 & 8 year old) from Cornwall stayed for 3 nights. We wanted somewhere near Cambridge as my eldest is there at Uni. The location was spot on, only 30 minutes drive to the centre of Cambridge and 3 miles from St Ives where there were plenty of places for fuel, shopping and eating. The accommodation was perfect for us. The only slight thing was the sofa bed was a little less comfortable for the eldest child. But everything was clean, tidy and well equipped for us on arrival. "The rooms were at the raptor foundation, so you had access to the collection of Buzzards, eagles etc. A lovely place to stay lovely friendly staff . plenty of parking quiet friendly and the rooms were perfect for an overnight stay. Great value fpr momey"

"Beautiful accomodation and accessibility. I really could not, or want to, be critical of anything with our stay. The air conditioning was a massive bonus on one of the hottest day of the year and with us bringing our dog, our room had its own patio and direct access onto the gardens , which was perfect. "Very lovely atmosphere nice sunny evening so we could sit out in the courtyard, our room did look over courtyard so it was a bit noisy as it was hot so window was open all night but didn't spoil our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times "
