"Great locations, peace and quiet"

"This is a perfect place for a multigenerational family stay! I booked this for my son’s graduation from Penn State and stayed with my father and 23 year old son. This is a great option when all the hotels in State College are booked up and Penn State is a lovely 45 minute drive away. My father stayed on the first floor next to the bathroom and we were very comfortable in the bedrooms upstairs. The house is very clean and full of charming touches that appealed to everyone. "We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Serendipity, a unique area in the back of the camp so we had a lot of privacy. I was skeptical of the "tabins" because not the best pictures online but was pleasantly content when we got here. They were spacious enough to accommodate and the beds were fine. It's not the cleanest, but as long as you bring a sheet and/or sleeping bag to place on top of the mattress it was quite comfortable. "This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out...

"Comfortable cabin in a beautiful setting. We loved catching up on movies we never watched and taking hikes on the quiet roads. Lots of deer to watch. Off the beaten path a bit but plenty of good restaurants within a 15-20 min drive. Would definitely visit again!"
