"Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site."

"Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway. Nice place with an even nicer...

"Simple little house that is located right in the middle of town. Kept us warm and had a small fenced yard perfect for the dogs to stretch in and run about. Only down side is that it’s right on a busy street, but that didn’t bother us too much with road noise."

"The amenities and location are perfect. Stan was attentive and very nice. Stan doesn’t really text or message on the app and prefers to be contacted by phone. If you need anything just call him and he gets on it right away. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom and tub was very clean, the entire place was clean and spacious. The tenants at the apartment were nice and very quiet. Much better than staying in a hotel and the price was very reasonable."

"The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. We will definitely rent again if given the opportunity. Only 15 minutes or so from Pierre and the drive is beautiful. We had a family of six, four adults and twin grandchildren (11 years old). Pierre is home for our family, although we’ve all been gone for many years. It was wonderful to be able to stay in such a nice property on our annual trip this year.
