"Our son and his wife graduated Hillsdale College May 2025. We booked our stay here a year in advance wanting to be sure to get the Heritage House again. Back in 2023, our first son Graduated from Hillsdale and we stayed here with family and friends. This is the PERFECT place! "Very good rental. Exactly what the pictures show. We fished, swam off the pontoon, kayaked, and enjoyed the fire pit. We used the grill to cook everything. AC and good beds kept it comfy at night. 2 minor things that do not change my rating: i didn’t need to pack lawn chairs - already chairs by the fire. I packed K cups but it was a drip coffee maker. Rhonda communicates very well and was easy to reach."

"This clean, up to date, two bedroom home is perfect for a casual time. It is tucked away on a quiet lake outside of Brooklyn but not a bad drive. No issues with the house except not knowing how to work the air conditioning. The owner was easy to get on the phone and helpful. Would stay there again"
