"the property is quiet bucolic and somewhat serene, anachronistic in a good way, great place for a private getaway. The rooms were too cold even n the summer and attempts to lower the AC were ineffective, needs to be remedied, also the gym is in need of a major remodel, walls were smeared and dirty as well as ceiling times and 2 of the machines about 10 worked, literally just a few mismatched weights to be had. "We arrived real early in the morning. There are only 2 levels, but no elevator. After sharing that we physically couldn't walk up and down all those stairs (with luggage in tow), we were given a room on the first level at the same price. The front desk staff who checked us in did not subtract our room deposit and we were charged the full price. I'm waiting for the deposit to be refunded back to my account.
