"Stephanie and Dave are wonderrful hosts who should be commended for turning a heritage inn into a truly magnificent B and B. Their attention to detail from their choice of antiques to their mouth watering freshly made scones for breakfast made our stay a special treat! "The property is unique and pleasant. Very peaceful in contact with the nature. Close to the beach and to the dock. Is not crowded and the staff very helpful. My recommendation bring your grocery there because there is no walking distance to the supermarket. The closest store is 10 minutes drive."

"In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !"

"Great host! Loved our time. The cabin has a loft to sleep so my partner & I slept comfortably. There was a fridge, freezer, bbq , & fire fit we had access to. Central to Lindsay, Fennelon Falls, & Bobcageon so there everything you need is right there."

"the only thing was the tv was a little far ftom the bed they could have made it easier to watch. But the place is really cool theres fire pits barbecue s for prople lots of places to sit around outside.Not just this place everyplace along the highway they have picture windows to the parkinglot and the back window was small but there was a beautiful forest behind the place..But luckily this place has a nice front yard and a nice view of the woods across the road..Its close to Huntsville which...

"Ollie was a great host. He was so helpful and nice. The bunkie was adorable and excellent. The futon bed was surprisingly comfortable--we slept really well on it. The composting toilet in the very clean outhouse was perfect and did not smell at all. The camping shower worked great for us. The only thing I would do if I owned the property would be to tidy up a bit. There were some bottles and canisters and stuff lying about in the woods and some ancient equipment that I would haul away. All in...

"We stayed two nights. The washrooms and showers were very clean and well kept. There were plenty of bbq's for even the busiest of times. Aside from bringing your own food they have everything you could possibly need. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Would definitely consider staying again. "
