"Two things kept me from rating the property as excellent: the AC unit in our room and the carpet. The AC unit did not pull the moisture from the air, so it was humid in the room. The carpet was also old and somewhat musty. I don’t regularly walk around hotel rooms without shoes, but I took a few steps barefoot on the carpet and it felt moist (AC problem) and sticky. "

"Overall, the stay was fine. Good for the price. Was offered a complimentary cold bottle of water at check in. Comfortable bed, microwave & minifridge in room, tub's bottom surface was somewhat ridged (much appreciated since it helps avoid slipping in shower). Room felt quite humid, even when A/C was running. Papers & fingers felt damp. The shower & toilet are in a small closed room, so a bit limited in space. No outlets near bed (inaccessible behind bed). No hairdryer in room. Wasn't a problem...

"Aimee the owner was easy to get in touch with and communicative. Home itself clean and appeared new with rustic design. It’s in the woods so expect spider webs/bugs but only spotted 2 baby roaches and a small spider inside. Appliances clean. Blankets clean. Stains on pod swing cushion. Bathroom towels clean. Bed sheets and/or comforter in king bed bedroom had strong mildew smell. Mattress not comfortable for us, but we use a tempur-pedic at home, so maybe comfortable for others. Bathrooms clean....
