"Not cozy, but very rustic. No heat. Cabin is more like a shack. You do not get a full cabin. Just half of one, separated by a locked door. The neighbors woke me up when they coughed: it felt like they were in my room!"

"We rented all 8 cabins over the 4th of July weekend for a group of friends we consider family. Everyone loved the cabins and the outdoor space where we could gather for meals and to play games. The adjacent field, filled with elk early in the morning and just before dark, was an added bonus. The 4th of July Parade in "downtown" Alpine and the Worm Races at The Tavern that afternoon were Americana at it's best. "Quiet, peaceful and away from town. Presence of elk and wildlife was so enjoyable. Cabin was clean and suitable for us as a couple and would work great for a family. Great shower. However, the Kitchen lacked a working oven, the refrigerator froze all our produce, and some of the pots, pans and especially cookie sheet were not very clean, or some were old with peeling teflon All in all, a very nice stay for us."
