"For the price and proximity to downtown Mayfield and Fancy Farm, this place is a winner. However, if any other option were to come up, I would take it. The photos on the website don’t capture to state of neglect in the standard double rooms. I love an independently owned hotel/motel but even if the funds aren’t there to keep up with the latest furniture and bedding you have to maintain and more importantly CLEAN what you do have. We rented along with cousins for a big family reunion, and this house provided a lovely place for small segments of the fam to break away and just relax and catch-up with each other. It rained all weekend keeping us indoors but there was still ample amount of space to host 20 people at a time. We even had space indoors for a bounce house purchased for little kiddos."
