"We checked in. Walking into the room there is a strong odor. There is no soap, towels, toilet paper and I look at the beds… they are rumpled and there are pillow cases missing. There’s also pee in the toilet.I passed a woman on the way to the desk and she gave me a number for “Ila” to text who is the manager. I texted-no answer. I walked to the desk and wait for about 5-10 minutes and then go into the restaurant where I learned Ila is who checked me in. I explain what happened and asked for her...

"Overall, we really loved our stay! We rolled up and could instantly tell that the house is brand new. It's a super cute place and well set up. The country sky views of the sunrise and sunset are excellent. We attended a wedding in Rosebush and were just 9 minutes away from the event so it was perfect. The only reason I'm giving it 4 starts instead of 5 is because the hot water was extremely sulfur-smelling. It wasn't a huge problem for us and our short stay, but would have been more of an issue...

"This place is perfect! Modern, clean, quiet, spacious, nice grills, fire pit, everything you need for a perfect getaway. Not too far from stores and things to do, but far enough to not feel like you are in town. And being on a lake without weeds near the dock was great - wonderful fishing. We also enjoyed riding our side by side in the Gladwin State trails that are less than a mile away (entrance directly across from the road to the clubhouse, beach, etc sign down the road). "Super clean and comfortable, had that home feeling, very spacious and beautiful backyard. Also the homeowner was very attentive to my questions and needs."

"The riverside cabin was lovely. King sized bed, with en-suite jacuzzi tub. Great porch for relaxing and watching the water go by. On-site restaurant Friday-Sunday, with good food and outdoor seating on the river.The only issue we really had was surrounding the check-in process. The listing does not specify that VRBO is holding funds for the transaction, but you actually have to pay the resort directly upon arrival, which caused a bit of friction upon check-in."

"We stayed at this home to be near our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. The home was clean and well-stocked and as pictured in the listing. Our family really enjoyed the pool table, air hockey table, dartboard, etc that is located in the garage! We had smores around a campfire in the fireplace provided. We very much enjoyed our stay at this home and would love to return again in the future! :)"

"We enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful property. The views from both sides overlooking Wiggins Lake were magnificent and truly one of the highlights of our visit. The house was clean and well-maintained. However, we do wish there had been an additional bathroom, as it would have made our stay more comfortable"
