"We loved our time at Stevensons. Yes, its a bit run down but the rooms are spacious and right on the beach - complete with turtles swimming out front of the resort. There are other places to eat down the road so you dont feel stuck there. I truely hope it can regain its former glory but either way we will be back, especially as it was more reasonably priced than other 'resorts' nearby."

The only thing that let us down was pre booking ferry from Upolu to Savaii as we wanted to take our rental car but left it too late and we were not able to take the vehicle with us. "Fantastic lagoon with crystal clear water and plenty of fish, water level low and good for kids and inexperienced swimmers. Best food we had on Samoa (food generally sad and unsavory); weekly BBQ was good and à la carta likewise. Same night staff did a Samoa dance and fire show which was authentic and lovely.
