"We arrived a day early and the hotel manager was so friendly and helpful. Our first room had a broken bed. Our second room had no hot water. The hotel needs some electrical work but yhe staff was super friendly and did what they could to help, including allowing the family to shower in another room. Pool and spa were down until the day we left. Overall, wonderful stay."

"The Frank was “squeaky” clean. We were in McCook for a family wedding. The VRBO was located close to the family, church and the fairground where the reception took place. "

"We had a funeral and it was a last minute get in for the wake and leave early for the funeral the next morning. They worked with us checking in earlier and communication was so nice. The house was plenty of room and very clean. Location was great. Highly recommend "

"This was a very cute house in farm country! The pictures don’t do this place justice, it has so much charm and character as you walk through. We had a few friends meet here and we all had boats, so the large lot was accommodating. The house was clean and the communication was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. The sunsets were beautiful! "

"Great place for our entire family to get together. Gorgeous home, everything you could ask for. The grandkids LOVED the bunk room. The large kitchen and big table provided a fun place to gather but we spent most of our time outside. The lake was awesome and the floats and life jackets provided by the host kept us all happy. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio with the sound system playing great music, s'mores at the fire pit, and just relaxing in the sunshine. Highly recommend! "

"We have stayed at this property multiple times and will continue to when we visit the area. The location right on the lake is great and makes it super easy to spend all day outside. The lakehouse is clean and comfortable and the hosts are super nice. Our whole group would highly recommend this property."

"Know this: You will be waking up early at the Coratel Inn. It’s small: 25 or so rooms on two floors open to an atrium with a pool that is basically an echo chamber. Breakfast happens in this atrium and it starts early, and you’ll know right away when people get going for the day. If a child needs to shout to mom about something at breakfast, it will be broadcast to your room and into your brain. Casual conversation is audible in your bed. "This place needs a lot of work, probably one of the worst rooms I’ve ever seen. Exposed plumbing in hallway and the horrible stench was enough, had to find accommodations elsewhere."

"The town was cool. Small and quiet. The manager was friendly and the pool looked nice though we didn’t get to use it as we didn’t stay long. The room was awful overall. There was dust on everything. One of the pillows had no pillowcase and there was mascara smeared on the pillow. The shower was dirty and the bathroom door didn’t close. There was very little water pressure, but it was nice and hot. There was lime scale in the water reservoir for the little single cup coffee maker. 2/5 stars....

"Absolutely do not stay here. Avoid at all costs. Rundown palace, crappy breakfast, noisy traffic all the time and clueless employees."
