"We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

The BBQ and full kitchen made things super easy and provided everything we needed and more. The cottage itself is cute and the private walk down to the lake serene. "This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"Warning: Extremely Poor Experience – Avoid This Property We booked this property for a two-night stay and were extremely disappointed. The condition of the house was unacceptable — it was one of the dirtiest places we have ever stayed. There were no towels, blankets, soap, toilet paper, or basic amenities provided. "Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention.
