"This is a fantastic getaway. The pond is very serene and the night time sounds from the wildlife are incredible. When we checked in there were at least 15 wasp flying around in the cabin for us to chase down and eliminate. For the next 2 days we killed several each day. It’s in the woods but beware if you have allergies to bees/wasp. There was also old coffee in the coffee pot. Outside of that, the cabin was cozy and clean. "Stayed two nights while attending weddings in the area. A very unique and enjoyable stay. The trail down to the treehouse results in a quiet and secluded space - surrounded by forest and the sounds of birds. As mentioned in the listing, the path from the parking to the treehouse is a somewhat steep wooded trail, and there is a ladder up to the loft bedroom - so this would not be great for those with mobility issues. But for us, these things enhanced our stay, and we would definitely return. ...

"This beautiful home was perfect for our trip to Charlottesville! We were close to fabulous wineries, downtown restaurants, UVA and hiking trails.
