"An amazing place with a gorgeous view! Spotlessly clean and very modern. We only stayed one night, sadly, but I would have stayed two despite it being somewhat far from some tourist spots. The sun rises and sets on the other side of the building that this apartment is under so it never gets too hot. We were there in January so not so hot as in summer but still lovely and warm. "Our stay was great. We love the fact that it was a beach front property with a pool. House was just as described and had everything we needed (well equipped kitchen, grill area, towels, etc). The sunsets by the pool were the best! We definitely are looking forward to our next visit. "

"Nuestra estancia en Villa del Cerro fue insuperable! La casa superó nuestras expectativas. Decorada con un gusto exquisito invita al relax y al entretenimiento en la piscina , el jacuzzi... . Los niños tienen un área de juego muy cómoda.

Little extras like Google Home for streaming music, master shower overlooking the beach, great lighting, separation of space, bedroom privacy, and security were all unexpected pleasures! "Do not choose best western Jaco.
There was no decent food except for limited fruit at the buffet. Everything was overcooked and bland.
The bartender at one of the bars was very kind, and the only upside was the open bar.
The hotel is outdated and if the A/C unit Isn’t keeping you awake then the music blasting until midnight will. When entering the hotel you feel like you have gone back 20 years in time and nothing has been maintained since.
The A/C sounded like it was about to fall out and was...

"Hotel was beyond expectations
Really liked the Mexican restaurants downstairs by the bar , breakfast buffet is also worth it . You can get coffee , juices etc and it comes with so many options for $20 per person it’s early tho from 6-10am
Would have like it to end at least an hour later .
Also the coffee shop the coffee was so good and so were their pastries
So convenient to have for early coffee sips for the early birds !

"Staff need courtesy and professional training. We ordered a drink at the bar and no one knew how to ring it up. It took over 15 minutes to finally figure it out and they wouldn't let us just walk away. It was insane! Really ruined the rest of our stay. We had a big group who reserved 6 rooms, none us will be going back. "
