"The hotel was in a good area. Walking distance to 2 beaches. And right across the road, there was direct access (via stairs) to the lake. Walking distance to several restaurants including the Idle Hour (a wine tasting place with the best charcuterie board) and Heidi’s Pancake House. The pool/ hot tub area was very nice. No complaints!"

"All rooms are ‘pets welcome’, even though website and hotels.com said otherwise - and we chose the hotel because it had rooms where quote: ‘pets are not permitted in these rooms’. For an allergic person that makes it a pretty terrible stay. The staff tried to find a room that was tolerable, but since all rooms have had pets in them, that wasn’t possible. And it was so noisy, my boyfriend had loop quiet earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones on, and he was still woken up all night by slamming...

"The surrounding area was weird, it had a few homeless people around the corner by 711, some drug dealers behind a convenience store to the right, literally saw the exchange happen. There were some nice people ( mostly foreigners or visitors that weren’t locals, but the area didn’t seem that great. The property itself was amazing though! "We spent one night at the Blackjack Inn and everything was great! The room and bathroom were very clean. Free parking as listed. . The location was very convenient, walking distance to dining, shopping and other attractions. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to leave the car in the parking lot for few hours after checking out to explore the town for a little bit more. We are very happy we booked this place. "
